Star Wars Masterworks, Update, and Apology

Firstly, I am SOOO sorry for the multiple emails, in particular the first two that were just black. Mailpoet drives me crazy and I’ll not be using it again, I don’t really have the time to waste on it. Again, I am very sorry. Below is what I’d meant to send…

Below are some of the pack-insertion cards done for the above-named set. The one exception is the Walker on Endor above, that one is an artist proof, available in my store (Patron discounts will work!).

I know many collectors dislike the thicker card stock – about 2 mm, or 1/16 of an inch – but it must be said that it is a TON of fun to paint on with acrylics… I’d love to try an oil painting on it. (hmmmm) Not sure how watercolors would go on it – I’ve no wish to try, but I’m sure others have…? For those who use markers of any kind, they are great on these cards. In the meantime, it’s getting tricky to be online and stay spoiler-free for TROS! I’m determined to avoid any info, however. Attempting to stay spoiler free with Mr Robot as well… If any of you watch that show you know this is the last season, and good grief it is tense watching.

Lastly, for those of you who aren’t following my Patreon page, I’m currently writing a book, mostly centered around sketch cards/art cards. Of course containing some of my work, but also briefly exploring possible origins of the card format, what exactly a sketch/art card is, so many people do not know, and other fun stuff. The point behind the book is to inform those who don’t know about them, and hopefully to provide an evergreen (is that possible) source of information and links. In January, I’ll be looking for at least 3 collectors, 3 artists, and 3 companies for short interviews for the book.

Patrons have gotten a look at the book’s outline and table of contents, so I’m beholden to complete the mission. Also, if any of you are not yet aware, I’ll be at the Non Sport Con in Philly next May. Hope to see you there!

Lastly, it would be great if you wish to follow my posts on Patreon – most are public, so it would cost you nothing.

À bientôt!
